T5s anyone have comparison charts?

I would like to try to keep up with the hobby of course, and I want to know more about the T5s. I really would like to see test results ran by UNBIASED sources. I generally hear that about 6 T5s will equal 2 150 watt halides on a 48 inch tank which would then equal less watts than I have now in VHO.....I realize no long term tests have been run, but any PAR checks and such would be great. I'm not all that interested in any tests done by stores or people with anything to gain......independent test results would be great. Thanks, and hopefully these things will turn out to be an alternative to halides. Also, the endcaps I've seen were doubles, and seemed to take up as much space as a double VHO strip would......isn't there a way to cram these things in tighter? they are tiny, do they have to be so far apart?? sammy I have been looking into them off and on for a while now and I will look to see if I can find a comparison chart - check out barracuda's website or Timsedwards ... they have pictures of their setups. From what I've seen at a joyous reefing site they are free standing end caps so you can move them closer together .....

Sorry, nothing to provide as far as written guidance for the PAR. But as far as the end caps the set I bought are tiny. I had to place the two front bulbs next to other because of my tank shape.(I mean only about 1/16" between the two). The only draw back with these is they are not waterproof. They look just like a standard flour. fixture, but smaller. I am very happy with these and for the moment my crocea clam (only 4 weeks now) is happy.
