tadpoles as feeders

Has anyone ever tried using tadpoles (bullfrog) as feeders? We have an excess amount of tadpoles in our pond this year and I was thinking maybe I could use a few to feed my fuzzy dwarf lion.. Any thoughts?

Meat is meat i guess, but Im pretty sure its not a good idea. I remember hearing something like this a while back, some guy wanted to use guppies or gold fish or something to feed his SW fish. I remember something about parasites that are harmless to FW fish, but can kill SW fish. So for this reason I would not recomend it. Besides, the whole idea of keepnig a SW/reef tank is to recreate the SW reef environment right? I doubt that you would find many tadpoles in a lionfishes home waters.....

Don't do it! I would feed mysis shrimp to a finicky lionfish. Make sure you add the shrimp near your powerhead to make them look alive.

If you value your lion then I would not. IT'S NOT a catfish. It's a sw fish that needs sw food!!!

Ok. I wasn't planning on feeding him the tadpoles for those reasons but I just thought I would get other people's opinions on the topic. Thanks.
