Tahitian Moon

I have the black sand in my 55 gal tank and I am going to be moving in May when I set it back up in TX I am going to change to white it looks ok but everything stands out even the dirt. it looks really good when first setup but after a couple of months I dont think it looks so hot.. it also looks darker kinda makes the tank look surreal like looking into a picture at times. lots of shadowy. some of the particules are hard to keep on the bottime of the tank and get cought in PH and cause lots of problems with them.
to me its not what its cut out to be...

I have the tahitian moon sand, mixed with a ba of white, and a bag of live sand. When the tank was set up, we poured the white, on top of the black, and now most of it has gotten well mixed. It looks fairly good, In my opinion.

I don't have it but if I was to try it I don't think I'd go totally black. I think I'd mix it with the argonite since it's so white, but then I'm not sure how that would look either. I suppose eventually it would all get mixed and you wouldn't have the same effect anymore.
I would imagine it's a good "type" of sand to have though.
