Tail Whipping Clown

Hi Guys-
Every time i put seaweed on a clip to feed my flame angel, my more dominant balck and white clown will get right up beside it, and whip it furiously until it comes detached from the glass.
 
Anyone elses do this?

Never had this problem.....by chance are you putting the clip too close to the clowns "area"
 
try placing the clip somewhere else

Or you can put two clips in.

i have a standard 48" 55 gallon tank. I have a vortech m-p20 on the left side wall, and i place the seaweed on the right side wall. Unfortunately, where i need to put the clip is exactly where my clowns live, RELIGIOUSLY. i think i have seen them swim over to the left side of the tank, maybe 2x in the year and a half that i have had them.
 
Well, looks like my only option is a stronger clip.
 
I will see if i can post a video of it. It is actually quite fun to watch.
