...and tell me what you think.
This past weekend I took a road trip to visit family in Arizona and on the way I tried to get some landscape photos. I've never had a lot of luck taking nature type photos in the past but this was the first time tryin' my hand at them with my Canon G5. I was pleased with the end result and wanted to know how others thought they turned out so if you've got the time be a critic and let me know how they look to you. I'll warn you beforehand the files are rather large so be patient.
headed west to Flagstaff

I live in AZ, far best place IMO for pics is the sedona red rocks, I go up their every other weekend mountain biking, I've landed myself in a cactus up their. Thats where I would check out, are you still up there? Awesome pics BTW

I've been thru the Sedona area several times...I love the drive from falgstaff to sedona to Jerome to Prescott...great road to travel on a bike and the scenery can't be beat. But....on this trip I went down to route 169 to Prescott valley. I've already returned home to New Mexico but I may be returning soon.

That photo and all the others in that group were taken going west from Prescott on highway 96 to Bagdad...in my opinion some of the best scenery in the world...if you've never traveled that section of road you need to check it out some time.

I do appreciate your kind words...but in truth I consider myself a amature and I'm constantly trying to improve the quality of my photos. I am definitely pleased with these and the others I have from this trip but I assure you there are numerous other photographers that I've seen with much better quality...I really am trying to become better at capturing what my eye sees...

Well let me know when you move onto people. I'm always looking for new photographers to upgrade my book! :)

All of them were shot in auto mode...and I have already printed a 8x10 of the windmill in black & white.....it is nice.

I agree the windmill pic is my favorite. I think AZ is so pretty. I have frinds that live in Bagdad, born and raised there. There last name is Corbitt, do you know them?

No...Corbitt is not familiar....but you could ask your friends if they know any Clubbs or Walley's......we've had family there since the late 50's....
