Well, sometimes we all want to share when good things happen. Hopefully this thread will give people a forum to share. It can be anything from personal life, professional life, family stuff. Just share good things that happen... pat yourself on the back...
Here's mine... for the past 1 1/2 years, I have had my first case in the Michigan Court of Appeals. Found out this week that I won my appeal. This may not mean much to most people reading and it doesn't do anything for me financially or otherwise. It's just a pretty big deal for a young attorney.

I have to say my two biggest accomplishments are my 2 wonderful kids and my lovely wife.
Also as I get older, waking up on the right side of the dirt.

Good thread Jcrim...
My biggest "accomplishment" would have to be the missionary trip I took to Slovakia in March. Sharing what Easter means to Christians, in a communist built school to a bunch of elementary and teen students, who have never heard about Christ; it was unreal. Especially when the parents of 2 students (of about 200 in the English program we were talking too) complained to the school that they were atheists and didn't want their kids in the program. The teacher said, no problem, we'll offer something else. The Vice principle said "Ya, just teach English in a different room to them". Then, at lunch, the Superintendent of the schools (this elderly man who lived through the Soviet occupation) comes to me and says "There will be no alternative class. The students do not have to believe what you are teaching, but they will listen. This is our culture too. They will learn about Easter. Please come back every year and teach the students..."
It was unreal. Of course, my 18 year old translator could have been totally lying.. the Superintendent may have been threatening to throw me into the Gulag.. :notsure:

My biggest accomplishment would have to be my two year old twins, during my pregnancy, I had many problems, I was put on bedrest at 20wks, so I spent the next 18wks either on the couch or in bed, worried each day that my babies may not make it, we all made it through and they are happy healthy wild 2yr olds.

Great thread JC, thanks and congrats on your big accomplishment.
My key accomplishments are....
Happily married, and will celebrate our 25th silver on 12/6/2006. Great man I love. Cared for him through his sicknes and numerous surgeries. And through his succesfull Liver Transplant that he had in 9/1/1999
Raised a 21 year old lovely daughter who is almost done working as an intern as a character performer for Walt Disney World, FLA. She starts Montclair State University Jan 17th to study her way to becoming an actress in Broadway musicals. Talented and loveley daughter I am proud of.
I am a Project manager overseeing a team of 3 folks managing a desktop/laptop inventory worth a billable amount 3.5 million dollars a month for a large insurance company that has been in business for over a hundred years. I have made it to this point without a college degree.
In one year beginning with Aug 2004, I went from 1 fish tank of 30 gallons, to 8 fish tanks (5 fresh water and 3 salt) totaling a water volume of about 600 gallons all housed in our living room and dining room.
And lastly, we brought 2 AKC Doberman Pinschers to their confirmation championship and we have a new puppy coming next Wednesday.
I am blessed.

Have you guys heard this one... What do you do if you have a gun with 2 bullets and are stuck in a room with an attorney, a lion and a rattlesnake?
You shoot the lawyer twice... just to make sure.
Why don't sharks attack lawyers? Professional courtesy.
BTW, I like reading about other accomplishments. I didn't list my little girl because that just goes without saying, she and my wife are the best things in my life.

Well, in an ATTEMPT to get this thread back on track, I will say a couple of my accomplishments. I think I will start with convincing my mom to let me get my own dog...and then convincing her to let me get a pitbull. Two years ago, I went on a mission trip to Tibet, China, and we gave vaccinations and cleaned children's ears out. A year later, I visited Kenya to comfort AIDS victims and their families. I will never forget a 5 year old girl who had HIV, she gave me a hug and started crying when I left. I gave her my CD player...she loved that thing. I was recently, about two months ago, invited by the government of the DPRK to participate in the Day of the Sun holiday there. The only reason I was invited was because of my efforts in the KFA (korean friendship association) to ease relations between the DPRK and the USA.
