ok ok, i know that probably nobody will even reply to this...but im going to be abit on the broke side after i spend all my money and ill still be in need of a few things.....so..does anyone have and old in-sump skimmer,live rock, base rock will be equally appreciated...uv sterilizer or worn out actinic bulbs....i know im a beggar..but seeing as how im under age...money doesnt come easy for me..and im trying to set up a nice tank...my old one was nuked by apower outage...luckily not to much money was flushed away....but im spending my money on MH, and sum plexiglass to build a tank, also pumps and piping for sump....and a couple other things...im even selling my red tail boa to help pay for it!!! so..let me know if u have anything u dont want and just cant seem to get rid of...thanks for ur time =)

yup..i knew it..noone wants to help me out..gah i should go get a job at jack in the box...lol....but ya know..if anyone out there finds my thread and wants to help..ill b eur best friend!! lol

give people more than 9 minutes to respond....
i would suggest going with a cheaper tank/smaller system though if you cant afford to get the equipment...maybe i'm missing something but there are always those recirculating fees with the tanks...but anyways, i hope you can get a nice one setup...i have a seaclone skimmer, no pump though....sorry cant help ya more

How about trying to get a job? Ill tell you what since i cant afford what i want for this hobby can someone on here just give it to me.
I hate when people come on here looking for handouts.

If the original poster wants to start his own thread asking for other people's left overs let him.
You don't have to give him anything.
This hobby is expensive, and it may not be right for him, but that is not for any of us to decide.

if you cant afford the hobby dont get into it. If you are old enough for a job and physically able to hold one, get one. If you cant afford the equipment, you cant afford the upkeep. Save your money and wait until you are ready.

im located in kent washington...and im pretty much looking for anything 150-170 watts MH or pc..also interested in any actinic....and also..sorry for being rude earlier while begging...i just get kindof impatient at times..except when adding fish to my tank...as i had a bad experience a long time ago..when i was taking advice from sum guy at the lfs...i was a big noob back then..i quit the hobby because i had no way of making money but ive been back into it for awhile..and im learning new things all the time..this site and the boards here really help alot!

holy crap!!! (is that a bad word??) oh well..156 people have viewed my post!!! i think this is my most viewed post ever..im really not trying to be rude but i cant wait to hear back about what kind of lights u might possibly have for me!!! i could be saving ALOT of money on the lights..all the more to spend on corals, rock, and fishies!!!

if you have money to save, then you need to be buying the euipment, most people here have to work to get their equipment as well...so if you can try and buy the equipment, doesnt have to start out with the best tank, i started with a 10because its all i had at the moment...eventually getting bigger as i had more to spend....just my opinion though, not trying to be mean...if people can spare it then great, if not go smaller, lesser lighting, like pcs.

What's with all the begging lately????? I started basement level with the cheapest setup and moved up over time. Maybe, Santa will answer your letter if ask nicely..... This is a forum of opinions and well, mine is to stop asking for handouts
I want the new LED lighting system maybe somebody here will give me one so I don't have to work hard, save, and buy it on my own.

thnks for all the rudeness king, its not like im putting a gun to peoples heads and forcing them to give me stuff... i just thought maybe if somebody had done sum upgrades..and had equipment they didnt need any more, maybe theyd be willing to donate it...

It's not the fact that people are being rude as much as they are VERY tired of seeing these "begging" threads.
It bothers people so I guess that they should not respond, but some cannot help but to tell you how they feel.
