Taking pictures of your fish?

I have taken some picture of my fish tank. I need to use the flash, I was wondering if this scares my fish.
If I don't use the flash, the fish don't come out. It all comes out blue.
How does everyone else take pictures of your fish.

I dont think it scares the fish , but its amazing that my clams react to the flash.

Interesting, how do the clams react?

when the camera flashes they close and open up again. Sort of like they blink.The flash startles them.If I put my hand in the tank near them they close .

The flash doesn't really seem to bother the fish in any way........that is just my experience though.
I agree that you must see how the clams will react........."blink" with lightning speed when that flash goes off.

Thanks for the info. I love taking pictures of them, but I was afraid I was scaring them.
