Ok, I had a little perc clownfish and I got a Haitan pink tip which I was luckey enough that he hosted with. Then I thought I lost him because I didnt see him for days. My kids were upset do I got a new clown fish a false perc. Well, it turns out he was in the over flow( i did check it a few time BTW) but he seemed to be getting along great with new clown untill the new bigger clown found the Anemone. He wont let him near it Im scared he will keep tring to get back to the Anemone untill he is dead. Should I get another Anemone?
thanks Mike

Unfortunately, clownfish will almost always fight unless they are a mated pair. The first fish thought she was queen of the castle, then this new one comes in and takes over. Either the smaller one needs to give up dominance, or she will fight it out no matter how many hosting sites are available.

I feel so bad because it was MY mistake. I should have waited longer to see if the clown would turn up.

Are these both false percs? If so, IME give it some more time. If they are not actively hurting one another, it should work out. It took my last pair of sebeas a few weeks, then they did the dance for a few days, and all was well--hosting together. If there is definate stress, nipping, ect. take one of the 2 out into your QT if you have one and try again later.

Ok, they worked it out ! They are getting along fine, the funny thing is one is a false prec(much bigger) the smaller one is a true perc. Is that uncommon for the 2 to get along? When I find my cam I will take a pic
