hey guys im goign to be going to the tampa clear water area and i wanted to know 2 thing some good fish/coral shops that are worth looking. And a good diving/snorkeling place in the tampa clear water area......some places with rocks coral and other fun things to look at thanks for the help.

Good shops: Fish and Other Ichthy Stuff, and Coral Corral in Oldsmar.
As far as snorkeling: Howard Park in Tarpon Springs.
You won't find any nice coral reefs around here snorkeling. There are some reefs offshore for diving, but nothing like you would see in the Carribean. Mostly rock with sea fans.
When are you going to be in the area. Water temp still down right now.

im going to go see my sis for 3 day goign to get over their in like 3 hrs
so Howard Park in Tarpon Springs is the best you think for me to go and see? ..............................want to come with lol.

Sandy beach. Snorkeling out you'll get into grass flats with some chunks of rock piles here and there. Look close, I have found tons of life there before. Including seahorses to octopus. Not much as far as tropicals though.
Walking out in the water, check all the little pieces of weed on the top. Your likely to find pipefish, filefish, seahorses, etc. etc.

sounds like fun do you know what i can take out of the water like dusters coral fish i would never take a horse dont want it to die.

checked it out today that place is awesome so much fun but with 30mph winds and no sun i didnt get to see much. im goign to be going back some other time. What is the best spot to see things just right out of the beach area or like in the bay to the right or the left?

Yea, it was a pretty crappy day today. We got tornado watches till 7 tonight.
Further South around Holmes Beach/Anna Maria Island is nice, but that's an hour+ drive from Tampa.
