tang and shrimp

I got a yellow tang and a gold coral banded shrimp and once in a while when the shrimp is on the rock the tang goes next to it on its side and the shrimp holds on to the side of it...this happend about 3 times already and at frirst i thought it was eatin its fin...it was pretty weird..if anyone noes soemthing about this let me know...

I have a CB shrimp and yellow tang as well... and everytime the YT swims under the overhang where the CBS hangs out, he will reach out with his claws and tries to grab him! He doesn't do it with any other fish except the YT... It's fairly entertaining to watch

The cbs is cleaning him off...or at least "presenting" that he has the ability should the tang need it. My yellow tang does the same...lies almost on its side in front of the cbs, and the cbs then feels around for any parasites etc...

Not so sure about that with mine... The CB is VERY aggressive about it! If he is just trying to clean him... he should try to not scare the **** out of the tang in the process!!!

yea...one time the shrimp was on the yt and the tank took off wit the shrimp on it and went to the top of the tank and the shrimp jumped off...it was pretty cool.. alright thanx
