Tang Compatability Question

Well For Xmas I Got A Gift Cert For My Lfs. I Want To Get A Sailfin Tang And A Blue Hippo. But I Have A Fairly Large Adult Yellow Tang In The Tank Already. Would There Be Any Issues In Adding These 2 Guys? 120 Gal 48x24x24

IMO a 120 is too small for an adult Sailfin, as they can get pretty big. There shouldn't be any long-term issues between a hippo and yellow, but of the two, the yellow is more agressive.

IMO...tangs do not do well together when they are the same shape. The Blue Hippo should be perfectly fine. I believe that the yellow and the sailfin will fight. They are the same shape. Go with a different shape such as Achilles, Gold rim, etc. Powder Blues and Browns are just too evil to try even though they have a different shape.

My sailfin and Yellow tang get along very well you may be able to pull it off. They established dominance for a day, and then it was all over and they swim together without any quarrels.
