hi all! recently bought a clown tang and had some feeding questions. ive heard these tangs specifically are difficult to introduce food to. any suggestions? he seems to be eating well in the qt, as there is mild algae growth along with nori sheets i suply for a lawnmower blenny. is this enough? i typically add a 2"x4" sheet daily and none is left over. also, anyone ever tried feeding broccoli, zucchini or other suppliments? thanks...

Welcome to the boards!!!!! They eat mostly vegetable matter. The fresh veggies are ok a long as you blanch them first. If he is already eating then pick up some formula2. It is an herbivore diet but has other things mixed in as well for nutrition.

I think it's best to stay with saltwater plants for tangs. If you have an asian market anywhere close you may want to get some nori sheets, just make sure you don't get the cooked ones. It's suppose to be the best thing for them.
