Okay, I said I wasn't going to make a new thread on my new tang but I got a somewhat of a decent pic and I would like to know exactly what sort of mimic tang do I have if that is what I have. Here he is:

And I will add this one just because I like it.

I don't think it's a Kole because of the purple dots and the eyes. Unless Koles can come in differenty. I was told it was a mimic tang but i cannot find a mimic thst looks just like him. So I was wondering what sort of mimic it is if it was indeed a mimic but I really don't think it's a kole but I could be wrong

Ctenochaetus binotatus -- Two Spot Bristletooth Tang or Blue Eye Tang (not a fan of this name). Related to the Kole.
Not a mimic. Mimic tangs are limited to the Acanthurus
genus of tangs.

Thanks. My other thread is actually posted as two-spot bristletooth tang because that is what I thought it was after looking on the net. I have not checked out the blue eye tang so I will need to do that. All I know is that his name is Tank.

Definitely the Bristletooth, I have the same one. Mine was sold to me as a "yellowfin tang", but is definitely a Bristletooth. I don't understand the "two spot".
