tang in qt. to my reef

ok.....
how is the best why to get my tang to my 58gl reef tank.
the tang is in a qt. right now for 24 hrs. eating alittle, out when the lights on. thinking to move him friday.
bad or good let me know............

What type of tang is it? And how long are you going to keep him in the 58? It might outgrow it... HTH

no he is in a 20 gl. qt and he's a yellow eye tang.

Man i always miss the good stuff

I always keep my fish in QT for about 3 weeks so you can watch it better but when you put it in the main tank you should acculmate just like any new fish.
