My Tang is on it's way out. At bottom of tank not moving but breathing. My crabs are wanting to eat him. I don't have a quarantine tank so do I leave it or take it out. I keep pushing the crabs off of it so they don't eat it alive. When one grabs it's tail it tries to swim but is very week.

It must be I shock. I put it in the tank this past Friday and acclimated it very slowly added my water to it three times. I just don't know what's more humane. Leave him suffer or flush him but he will still suffer. So confused and feeling sad and like a bad fish mom!

Yellow tang, my tank is two months old I have two clown, a fox face, a blood shrimp, a chocolate chip star fish and 3 hermits. LFS said a yellow tang was hardy and the cardinal I wanted was not so I bought the more expensive tang and 3 days later it was dead. Not to hardy if ya ask me.
