I have a baby hippo tang in my tank with the water fine, but it has ich along with my other fish. Im useing greenex and hypo salinity to get rid of it. My hippo tang has got 4 blisters on his tail that are clear. He is still swimming around and eating fine, could the hypo salinity cause the blisters?

Forget the greenx and just use hyposalinity. No hypo will not cause blisters. Is another fish nipping at the hippo's tail?

Describe the blisters and where are they located? Are they open sores, or wasting areas?
The only salinity level for hyposalinity is 1.009. However, are you actually seeing ick? Ick are white salt-looking parasites that you will see as tiny raised bumps on the body or fins. If the blisters are small, they may be parasite bite marks, but we need more info about what the blisters look like and where they are located. Also, soak your fish food in garlic for 15 mins before giving it to the hippo.

my fish do have the white salty dust on them. Should the ick fall off from them from hypo or does it keep more from attaching? My salinity is at 1.008, does it need to be 1.009? Their are 4 blisters on the tip of its tail that are like bubbles and are bigger than bite marks from ick.

I have a yellow tang that is swimming slow. He has the Linear Erosion which I know how to clear. He is swimming slow and is always hiding behind rocks. Is it shy or what?

Aqua, just leave the salinity level where it is. Yes the ick will "pop". Continue the hypo salinity for 3 wks after all signs of ick are gone, then start to raise the salinity level to normal levels again. Keep your fish in QT another wk after salinity level has been raised.
Bab: The term you are looking for is head and lateral line erosion [HLLE]. And just how do you cure it??
Yellow tangs are skiddish. They are not the friendliest fish and will hide. Judge this fish's health by what you see in terms of physical health and how he acts in terms of eating and breathing.
