Tang police please help?

I have 110 gallon high tank so according to you its not six foot so no tangs. I have read and some species are said to be able to be raised in a 75. I want what is best so I would like to know your thoughts. I like the powder brown and would even settle for a kole tang please help?

Kole tang or Scopas would be best - but in a small floorprint 110 - I'd only keep 1 tang - and with a scopas - I'd never expect to add another tang with him in anything under 200 gal - and possibly never.....Scopas are meaner than yellow tangs - and I think the meanest of the Zebrasoma line - but only to other tangs.....it would ignore most other fishes

I believe it will be the Kole tang. My fish list keeps changing but the tang should be last in or the flame Angel?

flame angel
mag fox face
Flame angel
mandarin
Mandarin will be added last in about a year. When tank is ready. Is this fish load to heavy?

No, not heavy at all. In the 110g high that I maintain, here's the proposed fish list:
2 clownfish
2 firefish
5 chromis
1 kole tang
1 coral beauty
1 bi-color blenny
1 neon goby
1 mandarin (much later, of course)
Not in that order, of course. So, in my opinion, no, your stock list is a little on the light side. Which can be a good thing, especially if you already have the fish that you love.

I really wanted to get the powder brown tang. guess I have to wait. Snake it was suppose to be alge blenny jsut have adhd and get ahead of myself. hahahah

Honestly, with that stock list, you probably could push the envelope with a Powder Brown depending on how you lay out your rock work. I'd make the tang (whichever you choose) your last addition so that you can really get a feel for what would be best. I'm definitely considered a member of the dreaded Tang Police on this forum. The last two additions should be the dwarf angel and tang. If you really want that Powder Brown (one of my favorites), you might want to consider not adding the dwarf angel.

First things first a Kole tang is a bristle tooth second in my 110 I have one yellow two hippos and one Kole all long time residence all in pristine health

Forgot about the mandarin. That should be added once you have an established pod population. I honestly think that with your desired stock list, both the powder brown and any dwarf angel would be fine.

i have a scopas and a yellow tang in my 100 gallon and they're fine, but you need to introduce the yellow first. my tank is only 4 feet wide and they do great.

I absolutely disagree. While it may have worked out for you, if you're going to keep a Scopus and a Yellow tang together, the Scopus should be added first, or they should be added together. The Yellow should not be added first. It is the more aggressive fish and this will only become worse if it is allowed to set up territory before a more timid fish is introduced.

And now I'm seeing you posted a thread about your Scopus Tang being a recent addition, it's not eating and it's twitching. I'd say: AGGRESSION and anything but "doing great"
