I picked this little guy up a few days ago he eats anything and everything he's one of the thickest fish I've ever seen for his size but he's got dark mark all over him can anyone identify what they might be.

No he's in the DT there's no signs of the spots irritating him he eats like a pig and is constantly on the move picking at the rock. They aren't raised there just dark spots on both sides of him

Bad not to QT all incoming fish.....

This is very likely stress. QT would have helped with stress since the fish would have been completely alone and able to deal with any fish diseases he brought with him in a stress-free environment.

Keep an eye on him and hopefully he will improve rather than come up with a disease.

He seems perfectly healthy and happy he just looks bad but he's not scratching or breathing heavy so my guess is maybe my yellow tang is picking on him but the marks don't look like scratches

He really is I'd say he's over 1/4" wide I've never seen such a small tang be so wide.
But back to the dark marks I dosed some prazi Monday night and this morning he looks 90% better so maybe flukes?

Take a look at him with a magnifying glass and see if you see any sign of parasites.

He doesn't have any parasites that I can see and the only thing I changed was the addition of prazipro so could it have been flukes or some kind of worms?

Looks like stress discoloration to me too. Is it more pronounced at night if you look at it with a flashlight?

It looked pretty much the same day or night usually when he gets stressed his whole body will turn dark. Right now the marks are basically gone.
