tangs and angels

Would the following fish coexist?
Yellow Tang
Blue Hippo tang
REGAL angel
Flame angel
I already have a yellow and blue tang, and would mostly prefer to add the regal, but I know sometimes similar colored fish don't mix well.

First of all, I hope your list of fish is for 120. Do not get regal angel! I know they are really difficult to resist, but people do not have success with them no matter how hard they try. Actually, they are one of the most challenging angel to keep alive in captivity. If I were you, I would go with maculosus angel. They are relatively small (~11"), beautiful, and fortunately one of the hardiest angels of all. I think it can be comfortably housed in 120 for the lifetime. It is not generally a good idea to mix two angels even if one of them is a dwarf species. My suggestion is to either get one large angel or get two different dwarf angels if you're planning on providing lots of hiding places.

So how hard are regal's to keep in an aquarium? I don't see a lot of posts about them around here...My tank's big enough to house most of the large size fish, but I'd prefer to not house a fish that would ever exceed a foot. I don't believe the hippo will ever get that big, and would like to add a nice fish to compliment it and under $100.

A real eye catcher would be a majestic they are not too aggressive and they are very unique. I love yellow tangs but they are too aggressive for a community tank with peaceful tank mates they just seem to antagonise aggressive behavior throughout the tank imho

my YT killed my copperband. He's aggresive, and I'm nervous adding fish. I should've added him last. Even so, he doesn't bother the other fish in the tank, so I want to add one more. I'd like to hear some talk from people who have successfully kept a regal angel...or lost them.

I understand how much you want to keep regal in your tank (I've been there....) Well, it's not that they are impossible to feed. I've seen some of them actually eating quite well. The problem is they get easily damaged in the process of transporting and handling. I know some of the collectors still practive the use of cyanide. Also, it is their dietary requirements that make them so hard to keep alive incaptivity. They require lots of sponges in their diets. Without them, they simply perish even though they''ve been eating well (like rock beauty). Overall, they are not recommended. Another problem is that ,with such competitive tankmates as yellow and regal tangs, regal might have hard time acclimating. There are many other attractive dwarf angels out there, or as said previously, get maculosus angel. If you're still not dissuaded from keeping regal, make sure you have LOTS and LOTS of live rocks, and get a hold of a healthy specimen (prefarably from Red Sea).

what's a good angelfish food? Right now my fish get spirulina, seaweed select, and frozen brine soaked in vitamins.

Ocean Nutrition makes a frozen food specifically designed for angels. It is high in sponge content and other nutrients ideal for angels. I think it is called Angel Formula. Formula 2 also made by them is supposed to be high in sponge content as well.

I just bought a yellow tang this past week and already had 2 damsels in tank,,,one domino and other blue and so far so good. The yellow tang hasn't even really acknowledged either one of them.
