Sorry you don't have the Tang anymore.
I would tend to worry that you are getting too many small fish as tankmates for the Clown Trig. CT's can be model citizens for extended periods of time, then all of a sudden "SNAP" and kill anything and everything. In Bob Fenners book he tells the story of a CT getting along great with his 6 Damsal tankmates for 6 months then killing all of them in one night. All fish are unique and I hope yours remains friendly, but the CT didn't get its rep for being a cold blooded killer by accident.
If you do decide to try another Tang, make sure the water in the QT is prestine (as good or better than in the DT) and the QT has plenty of flow.
