what equipment do you have?
Lighting?
Are you going to have corals?
In a 75 you need to make sure that you only have one tang becuase they need alot of room to graze and swim.
Well get back with some info.
good luck

you would be able to keep most species of dwarf angels in a 75 gallon tank. As for Tangs, many of them would fit your requirements, however, i would not recommend more than one for a tank that size.

Any tang would do well--if you're talking about the large angels-I wouldn't suggest it--while I wouldn't consider it cruel by anymeans it would not be ideal for them either. I have a queen in my 100g and she seems cramped even in there.
Good Luck

I have a small 3in Pacific Sailfin Tang in my 20gal.. (i know, i know, tangs don't go in 20gal's.. but my LFS told me it was ok before I knew this board). Mine is doing pretty good even in a 20gal(he's doing very well for being in a 20gal). A 75 should be fine for it... sailfins are a great fish good luck/

I would not put anything in from the genus Ancanthurus as they need much more space. I would not put a Powder blue in anything less than a 6 foot tank.
I think a Yellow tang would be fine though.

lots of different opinions here i see, i just wanted something different than a yellow tang, so you think a salfin or powder will get too big?

i wouldnt add a sailfin or powder. kole, bristletooth, scopus, mimic lemon or lemon tang.these would do fine in a 75. i like the koles they deserve much more credit than they get and a lot of pic dont do them justice. also they are very docile and dont seem to bother anybody. only put one in the tank they do need a lot of room

from what i have read . these fish have a 75 gal min.
atlantic blue tang
powder brown tang
white cheek
mimic
convict tang
.. all these fish are quite pretty to look at as well
good luck

I have a 75 gallon with a purple tang. The tank seems nicely sized for the purple but anything larger I would not recommend. (Including the sailfin, powder blue, naso, etc).
