tangs in tanks smaller than 55g

Im no tang guru, dont claim to be, never owned one, but I figured this would be as good a place as any to ask this question. I'm seriously considering a 120 that is 4x2x2 and was wondering if that would be an ok environment to house 1-2 tangs... I know everyone says 6 ft (125 is 6 foot just not as wide and 2 inches shorter) so what do you guys think???
