look at the size of your aquarium.
you could do a yellow, but please dont put a NASO in that tank.
you'll kill it for sure
good luck

Two tangs in a very large tank would be okay, but a 75 would not be ideal.

yes for 1 year tops, and thats if you get some small ones.
go 180 if you can then you can keep them 4 good.
125 will still be to small for long term care.

Logan15, good choice with the upgrade. I remember posting on your first thread about the naso. Looks good. As far as them getting along, they both look about the same size so that is good, but also remember with tangs, the key to keeping different species is different shapes. Should be fine with the yellow and the naso. Just wondering if the naso is eating well?
Oh, just thought I would post a pic of mine so you can see how big and beautiful they are.

wow i like the streakers he wasnt eating at all till i started some garlic soaking then he took to the food like there was no tommorow he is eating normal now but not like a pig i thought having some company might entice him a bit

Try to stay with the garlic for a period of time and then ween him off it. It isn't necessary all the time. Looks like your naso needs to eat some more, a little skinny. Once he gets acustomed to the tank he should be alright. As long as he is showing signs of eating. I would suggest about two small feedings a day to help him on his way.

IMO keep pluging away for the 180. I went with the 125 and after again looking at the 180 at a store today kick myself in the ass bigtime for not getting it. It's just a great size.
Now I'm saving for a 240-300 though. I think if a would have initially gotten a 180 I wouldn't be saving for a 240 or 300gal. 180 would be plenty.

i have been fairly lucky mixing tangs in a 175g . It houses a purple, yellow, clown and naso and they do chase each other but no damage or serious fights have occured. i also want a powder blue but may need another tank to house one. my naso and yellow have been getting along fine for 6+ months. good luck
