They really need more room.. 90g or better .... If you want to keep him happy..

75 is said to be the smallest but i agree with RazorEQX and they should only be put in 90's or bigger

I will go against the grain and many sites recommend a 55 or above for a Yellow Tang. But theres no doubt the more space the happier they will be.

Mr Crazytang,
I have been running a 75Gal. reefer with a yellow tang and a blue hippo for over 2 years now with NO PROBLEMS. I do have alot of rock (over 100lbs) for suitable hidding places and only have a royal gramma,flame hawk in the tank with them ! Never had a problem with stress and feed lightly, use Seaweed Selects on a daily basis.... So I dont know, its always a learning experience I geuss, the general opinion is not to do it though !
