tank algae question

My 55 has been set up for several months now. I have a mated pair of clown, a bar goby, DSB and about 20lbs of LR.(i know i need more) But im getting growth on the glass and sand bed...whats the best way to keep this clean from sand and glass??? also my sand bubbles???
 
anybody. What causes all this green and black algae. Am i feeding wrong? And the sand is getting discolored and bubbling. My gosh im so frustrated!

Do you have a skimmer, use RO water, what are you parameters. Most likely one of the these three things off. What type of lighting do you use?

Algae needs light and nutrient to grow. Evaluate your lighting schedule and your nutrient levels to see what your course of action should be. I would guess, and it is only a guess without additional information, that you nutrient level is elevated due to inadequate bio filtration, ie. need more rocks.
