tank/ anemone issue

have a sick looking anemone...first few days he would open up nice...had it for about a week...past few days it hasnt been open... what exactly do they eat? I have no clue what kind it is and I am an idiot and cant figure out how to post a pic... have been doing a few water changes to get levels where they are supposed to be...Anemone has been eating pellets that get fed to my clown...

You should feed your anemone meat like silversides at least once a week. The meat should be a little bigger then pee size. You should get rid of those ammonia and nitrites. Keep on doing those water changes every week.
