tank background color

Why do you paint it black instead of using a black background paper?

I use a blue background paper, and everytime I spill just a drip of water at the back of my tank it sucks the paper to it and makes a ugly color change in that spot. I'm thinking of painting mine but it would have to be with a brush since my tank is full and against the wall heh...

The paper backgrounds get salt creeps on them and start looking bad with in a few months IME... paint the back and you don't have to worry about it again.
Black is my preference...

Im not saying what to use only that I prefer BLACK....if you can imagine blue or another color here and prefer it then go with it....
