HAHA...I just got a web cam, and I was thinking about hooking it up this weekend.....I don't know much about them, BUT can't you watch them from another computer? For example....I could be here at work watching my fish....

i turn my cam off for maintenance, it gets in the way. And you can decide who views it if you want. It all depends on how you set it up

Well I plugged the dumb thing in....it said new hardware found.....and now I can't find it on my computer

OK...it's hooked up....the pic sux....LOL....I have no clue how to "capture" the video.....and it also says I can take still pics
don't know how to do that either
I'll mess with it later....it's just a crappy one I guess....A freebie from an office supply place for buying ink...haha

Nope.....it says to pick a place to save captured video....but I can't get that to work either....LOL
It's program is called amcap

and I took a still pic, but don't know how I did it....hahahahaha....I hate new things

Cant you just hook a digital camera up to the web and broadcast it that way? Plug in the wall and let her rip. Thats what I was gonna do just aint done it yet.
