Tank Cycle

I want some opinions about the initial tank cycle. Do you perform any water changes or just leave it alone for 6 - 8 weeks?

just leave it be until the cycle is complete. you could get a test kit and watch the cycle if you wanted to. other than that, just let it run its course. hth

I cycled with damsles and did a 2 gal. change once a week to keep the fish happy.

leave it alone until the cycling is done. dont need to do water changing when cycling

I would not do a water change during the cycle. An interruption like that could prolong the cycle.
