tank cycled in 2 weeks.......

so my 15 g h tank has been up and running for 2 weeks now, in my tank i have:
a stock hood with a marine glo 18k bulb
12lb lr
20 lbs ls
15 gallons of r/o water
2 pwr heads at 84 gph (168 gph)
50 w heater
2 bio bag filters
so the first water test was on day 4 and it looked like this,
nitrate 20
nitrite 0
alk 300
am .25
75 degrees
salinity 1.024
my test on day 8:
nitrate 20
nitrite .5
alk 180-300
ph 7.8
am .25
76 degrees
salinity 1.025
my test today on day 14:
nitrate 20
nitrite 0
alk 300
ph 8.4
am .25
80 degrees
salinity 1.026
so as you guys can see my water is ready and stable... i noticed diatoms all over my sand and algea growing on my lr......
ready for cleaning crew

Do not put any livestock in there until your ammonia is 0. You will waste your money. ALso try and get those nitrates to at least 10.

I don't think you have seen your spike yet.

good call drew, keep checking the ammonia it should spike up big time than followed by
nitrite. mine just droped ammonia after nine days it took 4 days for the ammonia to keek
in! so keep monitoring.(just my little in put)rick.
