Tank Dirty-cuc?

Tank-29 gallon (2 months old)
Fish-2 clownfish, green clown goby, Scooter Blenny (all about 1")
CUC-4 small hermit crabs, 1 narssis snail, 4 turbo snails
Tank getting brown algae, angel hair algae, and some kind of bristly looking green stuff?
What can I add to my CUC? How many snails and hermit crab would be ok?

in my solana i personally have 30 blue legs and 30 astrea snails. They are small, but abundant. As the algae decreses i will remove some that way they dont starve...
the algae is a normal part of the tank....almost all tanks go through the algae phase. Hair algae will grow, bryopsis will grow, etc,,,etc...hope this helps a little

I would up the clean up crew too, more snails. Also, do you realize scooter blennies eat pods and pods alone?

My scooter eats mysis and brine. I watch it eat, and it has gotten bigger. I know they can be picky eaters, but he seems fine.

I'll second that!!! I've watched him take ownership of a shrimp pellet and hoard it!!!
