These hunger strikes are worrisome. Ok not cyanide, that's a relief, but any ideas on a possible internal problem or source of stress? Can you think of anything at all that precipitated this sudden feeding?
I agree though, with the condition he's in right now removing him to do hypo would probably do him more harm than good.
I really hope he keeps it up for ya!!!
He hasn't been happy after his buddy died from temp fluctuation a while back with the new lights. I did not know until I came home early one day and find the temp to be at 84 and drops back down to 78 at night, I work late so when I get home it's at 78 so I thought everything is kewl. I start to notice fish getting stressed and sick so I came home early to check one day and that's what I find. I took care of that problem, but his buddy was wayyyy too sick to save. So after his buddy died, he hasn't been eating well at all, then he start to eat well again until new corals came around. I think it's because of the new surroundings that's causing him to stress out, but at least he's coming out of it now. Still eating today, but I need to do a water change because I feed him so much lately. I will do a large water change Thursday. Also getting a pre-filter box from a lady near by, she's giving it to me. I forgot to order it a while back when I got my Aqua C Remora. Also picking up some dry live rock from a guy that's near by her for a $1 per lb. I'm picking up at least 50 lbs from him. I have well established live rocks anyway, they'll seed the new rocks. :happyfish
