due to complaints from my GF i need to move my tank (65g) about 2 feet to the right so its alligned in thec middle of the wall.i have a mix of crushed coral and argonite sand. over the past year due to sand sifting critters all the sand has creeped to the bottom and left the CC by it self on the top. seeing as i will have to remove all my live rock and animals to slide the tank over i was thinking i would mix up the sand/cc again leaving me with very cloudy water i would also suck out b4 moving the tank. i was wondering if while im doing this i should vacum the sand bed? in addition i will be adding a sump/refugium a seed it with some of the sand/cc mix. or should i remove as much of the CC as i can and just use sand?

I would remove the CC and just use sand if it was me.

go with sand only. The crushed coral is a poop trap and your cleanup crew cant really clean everything. Sand is the way to go.

you stir up the sandbed,,,you have recycle... In a high flow environment CC on a top layer is not bad in a Shallow bed. it keeps the sand "in place" but in a low flow go with all sand...
if you plan on redoing the sandbed your going to re-do the cycle.
