Thanks again everyone. A filter sleeve is a gatelike plastic thing that has floss over it. I do have a protien skimmer. So am I understanding correctly, don't add fish, treat the tank with invert safe meds for over 21 days. My question is can I add corals? or don't add them too? 
and what book can I get One more problem brown/green alge on glass, I've tried wiping it off - no luck the snails are'nt doing the job. So how do I get it off without messing up the tank more ??
