Tank Pic

I just wanted to post the setup I have in my room right now where I am housing my shark! The top tank is the shark tank and he is hiding under all the Fiji LR right now but you can see my lion and yellow tang very well. The small bright tank on the bottom is my soon to be nano reef and the other one is an African Cichlid tank. Right now it is prepped for maintenance but when all the tanks are clean and shiny, it sure does make my room cozy (not to mention bright and humid.)

Your setup brings a question to mind. Do the lights for the lower tank illuminate the underside of the sand in the main tank, above?
If so, does anyone know if that will increase the effectivness of the DSB by giving it more lighted surface?
I realize that the water flow isn't there, but I wonder if you've stumbled on something here

no there is a sheet of plywood between them and plus lights shine up, not down
