Tank Plans!

Hi all,
I've been reading & researching and think that I gotten down some basic plans for my big "investment". This is what I'm planning to start with:
100 gallon acrylic
LS (enough for 2 - 3" bed, not sure how many # that will end up)
150# LR
2 power heads
1 protein skimmer
2 good heaters
RO/DI system
I already have all of the test equipment, and thermometer on my current system.
What do you recommend for the chemical filtration? I want to limit filters IN the tank and exposed as much as possible.
:D

Sounds pretty nice. I would add two more power heads so you have two at the top and two at the bottom. I would also get a UV sterilizer.

I've been reading all about the different wet dry filters, trickle filters, and etc - my assumption was that I wouldn't need any of these if I have LR & LS. Is this correct? So, other than the LS & LR, I will just need a protein skimmer & UV sterilizer & powerheads? What is the source of chemical filtration in that type of setup?
Just want to make sure I get the right stuff :D

Just remember with a reef tank that you add calcium to and have strong lights you get corraline algae growth which is hard to get off and you will scratch acrylic tanks trying to get it off thats why I bought a 100 glass tank:)
