Thanks Buzz,
I will definitely post pics when I get somewhere. I also plan on keeping a log...I'm a diver, so I'm used to that  Right now I just have an empty tank on a stand to watch and daydream about.
Actually, I don't know if anyone else has done this...or admitted to it...but we completely tore our front room apart tonight to be sure that the aquarium is in the healthiest place possible. The first place I picked would have been fine, but the place we have ear-marked now will be twice as good. Some way to spend a Friday evening, huh? Yeah, I have a life...

Mona,
We did the exact same thing. I actually moved my couch and TV so I would be able to see my aquarium from the couch and still be able to watch TV at the same time. It is crazy, my living room now revolves around the tank.

Buzz, that's very cool about the corals. Fuzzy or not they look great!!

Hopkins, I just had 4 really big pieces that I used to make the backwalls of it and then spent 2 days rearranging it over and over till I liked it. Then went and foung the pieces that I made the bridges from each side in the middle. I like it even more after taking the pics! Thanks for the comments, keep em commin!

Update: Got new cleanup crew and some corals. New picts of tank and inhabitants. Still trying to figure out how to get good pic of my zoos under actinics, always come out fuzzy and off center. Oh well, any props, suggestions, or criticism is welcome.

I really dig the idea for the doors that swing "out" instead of "up" on the canopy. Sweet!
Did you do the lighting setup yourself?[/b][/color]

WoW! Just starting...I'm very impressed! Good job Buzz. I loved the progressive pics. I just put in my clowns a week ago today but I have a nano 20 gal. I'm also keeping a log. Everyone looks just peachy so far. I'm a fella RN, surgery, PACU, ICU, CCU and finally L&D. Couldn't decide where I wanted to be. Stayed in each for a 2-3years. Now I'm at home with my son. Funny, never thought I'd miss it but I do. Good job on the tank. I hope mine grows up to be like yours some day!

MonaLisa-I rearanged my living room for my tank too! And it is right where we can see it and the TV. It's such a satisfying hobby.

Funkyman, yes I did the lighting myself it was pretty easy installing it. I put 1inch spacers under all the mounts to keep it off the wood. The lighting is awesome, but I think I will try 20k's when I have to change bulbs. The only problem with the doors on the canopy is I can't reach the back corners to wipe the algea off. But other than that I really love the canopy.
Really into this hobby, taking up all my free time and I love it, wife doesn't though, lol.
