I just got a 30g tank and stand from a friend of mine. It is in fact a fish tank but was not used for fish, I am wondering the best way to clean it so i can make a reef setup out of it?

it had a hamster or guinea pig i dont know what it was..
i did clean it out with warm water and vinegar i didnt know if i had to do anything else or not.

No thats about it. Just wash it and wash it and wash it. And just when you think you have it clean. Repeat process
