I just bought this clown 2 days ago. He was in a tank with about 50 tank raised clowns but I took him alone. That is the only fish I have in my tank adn no anemones. He is getting some sort of slimy stuff on his skin like its peeling or flaking . This happened to anohter clown I had a few months back. and he died. whats going on???? I tested my water and everthing seems fine???!!!

Unfortuntely that sounds a lot like Brooklynella. Please get a second opinion befoe doing anything though. Do NOT use copper to treat this disease. It progresses very very fast so you don't have much time. Something like Maracyn may work. but treat in a quaranteen tank.
Odd.... this disease is usually associated with wild caught Clownfish...

Yes, it does sound like Brooklynella. Cooper is not really an effective treatment. Use formalin bathes. 45 min bathes using formalin with tank water, every other day, for 3-5 bathes. Make sure that you use an airstone in the bath water.
