I have mine in a 125g. Great fish, stays busy all day going in and out of the rock. Gets along well w/ everyone in the tank. Great eater and very active.

flame angels need a 55, they need so much room because not only do they swim alot.. but they hide in live rock and need lots and lots of liverock to graze on.

IMO, anything in the 40 gallon range and up is fine. They spend most of their time in and around the rocks, but will use every bit of space you offer.

They get along well with tankmates, but can do a number on corals in your tank. If you are thinking reef, angels are hit and miss.

Flame angels are very nice. I would say 55 and up. Flames are one of the boldest of the dwarf species. What are you looking to do?
