Tank Size for Pair of Tomato Clowns?

A person is selling a pair of tomatoe clowns that are about 1.5 inches each. would they be ok in a 12 gallon nano cube? they would be the only fish.

its a little small but i think they will be just fine

A grown female tomato clown can reach 5", one of the larger clownfish; 12 gal is way too small. I think its too small for a pair of ANY clowns, but folks do it with some success.

I agree, Tomato Clowns are on the large size and, like Maroon Clownfish, they usually claim an area about twice the size of a 12 gallon tank.

if they r a pair, then 12 gallon should be fine for now. should plan on upgrading to a bigger tank after a year.

i am Fishfreaks twin and we have a 260 gallon reef that they can go in if we run into space problems!!
