i have a welded tank stand that ive had for 2 yrs now. is it ok to continue on using this stand or should i invest in a better one ????? to be honest i think my tank will fall at anytime !! but people tell me that it will be fine and that nothing will happen !! it came with the tank . i have a 40 gal breeder tank ! i have some salt build-up to at the back. and i seem to have rust on my tile !!! over a 2 yr time frame.

Those cast iron stands are pretty tough, they are NOT made as tough as years ago thats for sure...but if you can afford a nice stand and want one, go for it. If you are not happy and fear it is not sturdy replace it.
