Tank Temp

What temp do you keep your reefs at? My tank is at 77. I dont have any corals yet.

mines usually at 80-81 but on some hot days it goes up to 83. never any higher than that.

Mine stays between 78-80. I think the highest I've seen it go is 80.1.
And in this lovely place we've had 9 straight days of 110+ degs. Top temp was 116 a couple of days ago

Needless to say I am going through topoffs like a madman...average about 2 gallons of RO every day.

It was 79-82 untill i got a mj 1200 in my nc 12gal and temp are up to 87.

All the coral seem to love the extra flow.

79 on my 55gal tank. Temps fluctuated quite a bit before I got my chiller, but now it's at a rock steady 79 degrees, day or night, hot or cold.
I lost some corals when the temp spiked to 86 one day-thats when I decided to get that chiller!

79 here and steady thanks to a healthy AC and fan on my sump timed with the MHs.

78-80; outside it has been in the high 90's and with a fan I keep the tank temperature fairly constant

Mine stays at a constant 79, i have MH too, just set my heater and it never moves!
