Tank upgrade/ Build

The old tank is a 55 gallon flat back hex. I will be upgrading to a 125 gallon tank 24x24x48. I just started the switch. I built the stand for the new tank but I got to wore out so I had the LFS build the canopy soim still waiting for that to be completed. Oh well. I had a pro flex refugium for the 55 gallon but I did not like the fact that I had to top off the tank so much. So with the new tank I purchased a trigger system refuguim and I do like the lay out a lot better. Well here are some pics.

Finally got the tank into place, waiting to mount the doors and for the water to clear. At this point I did not realize I was going to make a huge mistake. I added my fish into the tank but the water from the fish store was so cold I pretty much lost everything except my two clown fish. My corals were fine but the fish could not handle the temperature change.

Sorry to hear of your losses.
Welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your stay.
That looks like a very well built stand. I hope it works for you. :D

Do you guys have any advice on sps corals. I just bought a new led system
and I want to get into sps but I heard you have to dose your tank every day is this true?
If so what do you dose and what do you test for and how often?

Exactly what LED system did you buy?
You only have to dose your tank with supplements if calcium, alkalinity and magnesium decrease to unstable levels before your next water change... which in SPS dominated aquariums - is most likely the case.
Read some really good articles on calcium, alkalinity and magnesium and pH. It's way too much information to just post on here. There's major discussions about it if you do a simple search.

I purchased the Mazarra LED max spect 2 module system I have done some research and I thought it was a good system. Do you recommend a book about corals that would get me up to date about sps corals thanks for your responses
