Tank Volume

This might sound kind of stupid but how do i calculate the liqiud volume (in gallons) of a rectangular aquarium?

1 gal = 231 cubic inches - measure LxWxH then divide by 231 i think

Lets try something harder, just for fun... can you tell me how to do it for a corner tank?
2 flat sides with a round face.

hey thanks that worked out great my tank is going to be 2.98 gallons lol and that includes the refugium! 23.56"x6.12"x4.78" (LxWxH)

nah thats about right think about it... its only 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall that really is about right

Formula: 3.1417 x R4 x D = Cubic Feet, Cubic ft x 7.47 = Gallons
