Tankmate for niger trigger

heyy~

so i bought a cute porcupine puffer!

but when i got him home it became somewhat of a nightmare...
he terrorized my favorite fish, my humu trigger and he died. :(
my niger trigger survived though, which sort of shocked me hearing that nigers are superposed to be "less aggressive" of the triggers . but anyways!
i decided the tank is WAAAAY too small for my puffer and niger to be together ( since my puffer still is very aggressive and territorial)
SO! i finally found a LFS who is willing to let me trade in my puffer. YAY!! so my plan is to trade in my puffer for a flame angel.
a grown flame angel is about the size of my niger trigger as of right now.

iv herd that triggers do well with angels, but i was wondering if id be different with a dwarf angel???
i want to slowly "ween" my tank into a reef tank, this will take time because id like to keep my trigger as long as possible (their my absolute favorite fish) haha iv also herd flames, you can keep in a reef with caution, is this true?

i had one before but in FOWLR tank.

if not is their any other fish you would recommend to live with a trigger

and is reef safe?

please and thanks for all the imputs

for your sized tank you can keep that niger in ther happy for another year or so. they maybe grow an inch a year if its a fast grower. i would say yes to the flame angle if you got plenty of live rock. dwarf angels are very hard to get going so i would fecomend keeping your lights off for the first day and it will take about a week to get them to start eating. but that varys in the fish. you could do a coral beauty angel, lemon peel angel( my favoret), and a variaty of damzels for something tough to go with the trigger but damzels are one of the meanest so do your research befor you get a damzel.

oh you can definetly do a flame angel and i here the bicolored angel is realy dificult to keep and you might run into truble with the chocolatchip star. ther not really cut out for aquarium life IMO. but it would be a grat chalenge to take on but do your research first. and you could do a yellow tail damzel with the flame and trigger that tank would look great. and i know nuthing about urchins besides they need A LOT OF ALGEA and a 55 might not be big enough. try a serpent star, its a great starfish to keep and not hard to take care of. i feed mine by hand.
