I may be getting a 95
MOPARDWH, most upgrades that are thought of never much happens, and being as it is in your 55, you will find that you are extremely limited to what you can manage. For any long periods in doing any eel in your 55, you will soon enough learn that your only choice in eels be a dwarf or other eels that grows not more then two feet. And even an eel at two feet, you would not be able to keep just any eel for in which case your selection are few and most hobbyists can never manage to obtain such eels in which draws you right back to a SFE, in which case there be some difference in opinion on aquarium size which I say shouldn't be any smaller then a 75 gallon tank, for the long term in keeping such eels.
I taking the time to name a few and the many others that even that they could fit and live well enough in a 55, your problems would be in what other fish you might try to have as well. For please take note that the last eel listed here, that even due to the fact that the Caribbean chestnut moray would fit well in a 55, you will find however that you will have a major problem in keeping any other fish in with it.
Greyface moray
Richardson's moray
Ghost moray
Goldentail moray
Geometric moray
Palenose moray
Abbott's moray eel
Caribbean chestnut moray
larger clowns
MOPARDWH, NEreef mentions a larger clownfish for it might have a survive due to its size, maybe.
and a couple eels?
There be only two ways this could happen inside a 55. Those two be as, your either a pair of dwarf eels, in which case you may be able to have a few small fish, but nothing slim looking or under 3". And the other be that your only a pair of eels, in which case you not have many of those i listed here other then you could have a pair of either the Caribbean chestnut, Richardson's, Goldentail or Ghost morays.
Perhaps you wish to think about upgrading somewhat sooner?
