tankmates for a maroon clown

what other fish would be compatible with a maroon clown? I really want to put a royal gramma with him, but I know maroons can be mean to other fish. any advice?

how big is your tank if its small then you might have a problem in a 30g and bigger you should be alright

My maroon clown was my first fish.
I now have:
Lemonpeel angel
lawnmower blenny
royal gramma
2 green chromis
2 chalk basslets
He gets along with everyone well.
I added the lemonpeel a couple months ago. For a while the lemonpeel was harassing the clown, but eventually the clown started fighting back. Now they are both friends
