Just trying to verify...I have a 75 now and am considering upgrading to a 90 or 110. Can someone confirm that these all have the same footprint such that I wouldn't have to change my stand and canopy?

Thanks. I'll have to see just how long my stand is, since the 110 looks a hair bigger than my 75g. Cheers!

Glasscages has a 115 that is 48x18x31 and they list their 75's and 90's as 48" long.
Joe, Aren't the standard 75g and 90g tanks 48" long instead of 48.5?

If you are just measuring the glass then they are 48 on the nose. But if you actually measure the footprint (plastic brace and all) they should be 48 1/2" long.

So here's a question:
Can a stand made for a 75g handle the load of a 90g? Or is that a silly question? Not a carpenter or physics expert here.

You are gong to be adding over your 75g weight IMO about 150lbs with all things considered. You stand load capabilities are predicated on your vertical load capacity IMO a 75 g stand has a safety factor of well above the total weight of a set up 75 plus 150lbs. PLEASE understand that is just MY OPENION

Great job. You should publish a book. " The In's and Outs of the Saltwater World" or something.
